The Tunisia international is among the 12 members of Stuart McCall’s squad who are out of contract this summer.

Rangers still do not know which league they will be playing in next season while McCall is yet to be told if he will even still be in charge beyond the summer.

But centre-half Mohsni believes his time in Glasgow is up, regardless of whether the Ibrox club seal promotion back to the SPFL’s top flight through the Premiership play-offs.

Reports in Germany have suggested the 27-year-old former Southend defender is close to agreeing terms with Freiburg.

But a source close to the player said he is still mulling over his options.

He said: “Bilel is out of contract at the end of the season and it doesn’t look like he is going to stay at Rangers with the way things are going.

“There has been contact with clubs, not only in Germany. He is an international player so he attracts interest.”
