‘Albion will not go down without fight’

Play-off bound Brechin City take on relegated Albion Rovers at Glebe Park in the Second Division tonight, with Brechin manager Ray McKinnon warning: “They will be disappointed at going down but they will be going all out to show they are not a bad side.”

Brechin’s Johnny Brown, Ewan Moyes and Gary Fusco could return after missing out against the Warriors, with Craig Molloy out with a knee injury.

Rovers’ return to the Third Division after two years was confirmed on Saturday with a loss of 4-1 at Alloa. Barry Russell is suspended and Michael O’Byrne, Tony Stevenson and Steven Howarth are all injured.
