Police went to Commerce Street in Insch, Aberdeenshire, at about 6.15am today following a report of concern for the 27-year-old.
She was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where she died.
Police said the death is being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
