You could get paid £3,000 to test theme parks across Florida - here’s how to apply

Few things are more exciting to thrill-seekers than a visit to a theme park - except, perhaps, the opportunity to get paid to test out the rides.

Well, adrenaline junkies are in luck as the job of their dreams is currently up for grabs - testing theme parks across Florida for £3,000.

The exciting job requires the successful candidate to visit some of Florida’s most popular attractions over the course of three weeks, including the chance to visit the likes of Universal Studios, Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Busch Gardens.

As the Official Florida Theme Park Tester, you will be paid £1,000 per week for your time, with all expenses paid for, including return flights, travel and accommodation during the three week period.

And as an added bonus, the person who lands the role can even bring a plus one along for the ride too.

Offered by the UK’s leading independent Florida specialist, Ocean Florida, the coveted role involves rating theme parks across the state on a range of criteria, providing detailed feedback on the following:

Added perks

Sampling the Butterbeer at Hogsmeade, judging the firework displays at The Magic Kingdom and rating the thrill factor of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, are just a few of the exciting experiences the successful applicant will be able to try out during their visit.

The perks also include fast passes for rides in the parks, as well as photo passes to use throughout the duration of your visit, ensuring you make the most out of your time at each location.

The lucky candidate will also be equipped with a GoPro camera to capture content as you explore, along with a Fitbit to measure your step count and heart-rate during different activities.

How to apply

To apply to be the Official Florida Theme Park Tester, simply head to the Ocean Florida website and fill out their online application form.

Applicants are encouraged to get creative with their submissions, by stating which Disney character they would would be and why.

You need to be aged 18 or over to apply, and have a valid passport.

An enthusiasm to immerse yourself in the job of a lifetime is also essential.

Applications are now open and will close on Friday 31 January 2020.
