Will it snow next week? Here's what to expect as Met Office issues more weather warnings
Much of the country is facing the prospect of snow and ice after the Met Office issued a series of yellow weather warnings.
The Met Office warned that almost 8in (20cm) of snow could fall in the worst affected regions, with people facing delays to travel, power cuts and risk of injury due to ice.

Hide AdThe temperature will drop as low as minus 6C overnight tonight (Sunday) in England, with the potential for the mercury to fall to between minus 10C and minus 15C in parts of Scotland
On Saturday evening, the Environment Agency had put in place 90 flood warnings across England, alongside 243 less serious flood alerts, after water levels rose across the country throughout the day.
What's the outlook for next week?
The wintry weather will continue next week.
Another weather front will move in, with long periods of snow and icy conditions for most of England, Wales and Scotland, with 5cm of snow expected off the coasts, and highs of 15cm in the higher areas of Scotland and Wales.
A heavy band of rain is due to arrive overnight on Monday into Tuesday which will is set to turn to snow as it meets cold air. This has led to further yellow weather warnings for snow and ice on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hide AdThe Met Office has yellow warnings of "snow, with a risk of widespread ice" in place for much of England and parts of Scotland on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Northern England and parts of Wales could see widespread snow, with 1cm to 5cm likely at lower levels and 5cm to 10cm possible in the hills.
Drivers are warned to take extra care due to the icy conditions.
