The best apps for getting into the Winter Olympic spirit

The sports-loving masses are in their element right now, with all eyes on PyeongChang, South Korea where the Winter Olympics are currently being held.

The official app makes it easy to find crucial information including rankings, medal standings, athlete information and real-time updates. And there’s even an introduction to some of the more unfamiliar events at the Games.

There is live action on the BBC Sport website and app, catch-up video highlights and on-demand clips, analysis, insight and news from the Games to audiences wherever they are.

You can get all this on whichever device you want, right up to closing ceremony at PyeongChang Olympic Stadium on February 25, as well as on social media.
