The app is backed by Sony Music and Universal Music and has been created for music lovers who want a curated service including the latest chart hits.
What is NOW That’s What I Call Music?
NOW That’s What I Call Music is the longest running music curation brand in the world, which compiled the best performing songs annually into one album.
It began in the 1980s with vinyl records, and then progressed to CDs, before creating the NOW Music streaming service.

The app has music from the early NOW Music compilations, to the artists who featured most recently on NOW That’s What I Call Music! 104 which was released last year.
The free subscription will give users unlimited shuffle-play access to the NOW Catalogue and weekly charts. Since the free plan in the app is funded by advertisements, these will play between songs.
Users can also enjoy music from the app’s Radio function, which plays a variety of songs from past decades.
What does the paid service include?
The paid subscription provides an ad-free service, the ability to create playlists and offline listening.
