Rangers have railed against the SPFL proposals to end the season early. The resolution recommends that the Ladbrokes Premiership remains postponed for the time being, although final season placings would be determined by the same system if the SPFL's board determines matches cannot be played. That would see Celtic crowned champions for the ninth successive season and Hearts relegated and Rangers say that it is "abhorrent that certain clubs could be unfairly relegated" if the resolution is passed. The 6ft 5in stopper is understood to be keen on pledging his allegiance to his parents' homeland. (The Sun)
