Youths riot during king's visit

YOUNG Jordanians attacked anti-riot police guarding King Abdullah II yesterday during his visit to the poor southern town of Talifa.

A crowd of about 60 men became enraged at the barring of young unemployed from a meeting with the king, a day after he announced he would accept cabinets formed by elected parliamentary majorities.
