Youths fined for assault

A DRUNKEN party-goer goaded other guests into fighting him, a court heard.

But Tony Anderson came off worst in the "square go" when he was kicked by three teenagers. At Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday Blake Finnie, Lewis French and Dean Robinson, all aged 17, appeared for sentence on an indictment charge of assault to injury.

Finnie and French, both of Livingston, were each fined 300 after they admitted kicking Anderson on the body while he lay on the ground.

Robinson, of Broxburn was fined 600 after pleading guilty to kicking his victim on the head.

The attack happened on Robertson Way, Livingston on November 29 last year.

Anderson suffered cuts and bruises to his head.

Lisa McCloy, prosecuting, said the accused and their victim had all been at a party when Mr Anderson started arguing with them. Shortly afterwards the altercation developed into a fight outside the house and Mr Anderson ended up on the ground being attacked by all three youths.
