Youth up for politics award

A MEMBER of the Scottish Youth Parliament has been nominated for an Up and Coming Young Politician of the Year award.

Danielle Rowley, a Midlothian member of the Scottish Youth Parliament, has been nominated in the category for the Scottish Variety Awards. Winners will be announced in Glasgow today.

Ms Rowley is a Trustee Director of the Scottish Youth Parliament and was named MSYP Newcomer of the Year in 2010. She is also a member of the Dalkeith Youth Forum and the Midlothian Youth Platform.
