Youth held over assault

A TEENAGER has been charged in connection with the assault of a pensioner in the Capital on Friday.

A police spokesman said: "A 15-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault on a 73-year-old male that happened in the Saughton Road North area."

A report will now be sent to the Children's Reporter.
