Youngsters give village a clean-up

Youngsters from Stoneyburn in West Lothian have taken part in an environmental clean-up of the village.

Among those getting their hands dirty last Friday were pupils from Stoneyburn Primary School and Our Lady's Primary School, as well as children from Stoneyburn Nursery.

The clean-up followed the launch of the Alcohol Reduction Project in West Lothian earlier this year.

An "alcohol reduction fun night", aimed at young people aged nine to 14, was held at Stoneyburn community centre after the clean-up.
