Young drivers to get in gear

YOUNG motorists are being encouraged to sign up to a police-run driving course to help them brush up on their technique behind the wheel.

The Young Driver event, based in Dalkeith, is aimed at under-25s in East Lothian and Midlothian and launches on February 14.

It takes the form of two evening sessions including a challenging Skills Day, where young drivers can test their skills against each other to win a day out at Knockhill Racing Circuit.
