Young and old hop along to aid Oxfam

SPACEHOPPERS proved the only way to travel as RBS staff and their children took to the streets in a green challenge for charity.

The fundraisers were taking part in the Carbon Freelay as part of series of events aiming to raise 10,000 for Oxfam.

More than 100 staff took to the streets travelling between nine Edinburgh branches using everything from spacehoppers to wheelbarrows and collecting donations along the way.

Staff from branches across the Capital and the Lothians also held their own fundraising events.

Clare McDowall, from Oxfam Scotland, said: "We are delighted by the efforts. Their passion for supporting poor communities around the globe is to be commended."
