You Moscow to the circus

THE Moscow State Circus is bringing a new show to the city boasting breathtaking feats of aerial acrobatics this summer.

The performance will showcase Yana Alievia, a star of Russian circus, on a revolving aerial chandelier; four acrobats performing deadly high-wire stunts; the Whirlwind Rubsovsm troupe catapulting themselves into the big top at breakneck speed, as well as the spectacular vertical pole balancing of The Alikanov and the high-flying bouncing bamboo bravados of The Perushkins.

A spokesman said: "Inspired by the legend of 'The 12 Chairs', the new show takes us on an incredible journey in the company of, without a doubt, the greatest circus performers on earth."

The circus will be performing at Ocean Terminal from August 9-21.
