GIGS in secret locations tend to be reserved for only the biggest, most in-demand performers.

However, organisers of a fundraising concert in Edinburgh are hoping to create a similar mystique around their event early next month.

The Rock For Fet-Lor, which generates money for the youth centre in north Edinburgh, only reveals the location for the 300 attendees at the last minute.

Organisers are looking for musical acts to perform at the event, attended by 13 to 18-year-olds, on March 3 at 7pm.

A spokesman said the gig would be filmed in HD. He added: “We’re looking for music acts interested in playing this gig and helping raise money for a good cause.

“This is open to all acts in all genres and they only need to perform for 45 minutes.
