Writer interviewed over Strauss-Kahn

French police have interviewed a writer who accuses former IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn of attempted rape in 2003, her lawyer said.

The meeting with Tristane Banon, 32, marked the first concrete step in a preliminary inquiry after the French writer filed a legal complaint last week against Strauss-Kahn.
