Watch: Arnold Schwarzenegger delivers 'Conan the Barbarian'-inspired message after US Capitol attack

In his piece-to-camera, the Terminator star compared the events in the US where rioters stormed the US Capitol last week to Kristallnacht, the Day of Broken Glass, a pogrom against Jewish people in Nazi Germany in 1938.
Schwarzenegger, accompanied by epic music, said: “Wednesday was the Day of Broken Glass right here in the United states.

"But the mob did not just shatter the windows of the Capitol.
"They shattered the ideas the ideas we took for granted.”
Schwarzenegger names President Trump as ‘failed leader’ who will “go down in history as the worst president ever.”
In his video, he also accuses Trump of attempting a coup “by misleading people with lies.”

He compares Nazis to America’s Proud Boys, a white supremacist group who Trump told to ‘stand by’ during a US election debate this year.
However, holding ‘Conan’s Sword’, the blade of a hero he played, Schwarzenegger likened its steel to democracy in America, saying no matter how much impact it takes it will grow stronger.
Schwarzenegger added: "America will come back from these dark days and shine our light once again” and wished President-elect Biden “great success.”
