Volunteers rescue 900 dogs in lorry

Volunteers have rescued about 900 dogs that were being transported in poor conditions in a lorry near the Chinese city of Chongqing.

The animal protection society said the lorry was on its way to Guangdong, in southern China, where dog meat is often served in restaurants.
