Three US students die in minivan crash

NEW ZEALAND: Officials have identified three Boston University students who were killed yesterday when their minivan crashed in New Zealand, where they had been studying.

At least five other students from the university were injured in the accident, including one who was in a critical condition.

Police said the students – Daniela Lekhno, Roch Jauberty and Austin Brashears – were travelling in the minivan yesterday morning near the North Island town of Taupo when the vehicle drifted to the side of the road and then rolled when the driver tried to correct course.
