Thousands attend funeral of protester

Thousands of Shiite Muslims yesterday attended the funeral of a man killed during protests triggered by the arrest of a prominent Shiite Muslim cleric in Saudi Arabia’s oil-producing Eastern province.

Mohamed al-Felfel was shot dead on Sunday.
