Tamil newspaper office attacked
A GANG attacked an office of a Tamil newspaper critical of the Sinhalese government of Sri Lanka, injuring five people, the publisher said yesterday.
The attack comes a fortnight after the United Nations called on Sri Lanka to address human rights violations. The attack on the Uthayan newspaper office was the fourth on the media in the island’s north since January.
