Suspects put the sting on officers

Suspected smugglers set loose a swarm of bees on 15 Turkish police officers searching a truckload of hives.

Police stopped the lorry at Adana yesterday after a tip-off. It was later searched by officers in beekeeping gear, who seized 32,500 packets of cigarettes.
