Stolen tsar medal returned to Moscow

THE US ambassador to Russia returned a stolen silver medallion that belonged to the last Russian tsar to Moscow yesterday, after it was recovered from an online auction by American investigators.

Ambassador John Beyrle said the recovery of the item signalled increasing trust between Moscow and Washington.
