Stinging bee swarm hospitalises three

Thousands of bees attacked a man in a wheelchair, stinging him more than 60 times and sending him and three others who came to his aid in the city of Santa Ana, California to hospital.

The incident shut a street and forced the evacuation of shops while beekeepers removed an estimated 60,000 bees.
