Sri Lankans warned over India visits

Sri Lanka’s government has warned its people not to visit the Indian state of Tamil Nadu until further notice because of increasing intimidation of Sri Lankans there.

The warning came after 184 Sri Lankan pilgrims were mobbed and had to seek refuge in the church they were visiting.
