Sleaze scandal rocks Obama

A PROSTITUTION scandal involving US security personnel in Colombia has clouded President Barack Obama’s charm offensive in Latin America.

In a major embarrassment for the United States at the Summit of the Americas attended by more than 30 heads of state, 11 US Secret Service agents have been sent home and five military servicemen grounded over “misconduct” allegations.

Prostitutes were taken to a hotel in Cartagena, according to a Colombian police source.

Peter King, chairman of the House of Representatives’ homeland security committee said agents “did bring women back to their rooms”.
