Skier on GBH charge after Briton 'critical'

AN ITALIAN man will appear in court in Turin on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a British police officer was injured on the ski slopes.

Superintendent Clive Wakeley is described as being in a critical but stable condition after colliding with a 21-year-old man, who was alleged to be drunk at the time of the incident in Bardonecchia, Italy.
