Sectarian attack leaves 16 dead
Gunmen wearing military uniforms stopped a convoy of buses in northern Pakistan yesterday, ordered selected passengers off and then killed 16 of them in a sectarian attack.
The victims were Shii’te Muslims, a minority in Pakistan frequently targeted by majority Sunni extremists.
