Scots soldiers arrested after New York bar brawl
Six Scottish soldiers have reportedly been arrested in New York after an alleged brawl involving an off-duty police officer.
Members of the 1st Battalion, Royal Regiment of Scotland - on a US rugby tour - by are said to have been involved in an incident in a Manhattan bar.
Reports indicate that the incident may have occurred after the off-duty officer approached a woman who had been drinking with the soldiers.
Five soldiers have been charged with assault, while another has been charged with assault and robbery, over allegations he grabbed the officer’s phone and a chain round his neck.
