Rock art ‘at least 28,000 years old’

Australia’s oldest piece of rock art dates back at least 28,000 years, Queensland archaeologist Bryce Barker said yesterday.

The rock was found in the Northern Territory shelter known as Nawarla Gabarnmang in June last year.
