Robber strikes twice, is caught both times

A FORMER Soviet fighter pilot who defected to the US has been sentenced to 18 years to life in prison for robbing a New York state bank for a second time.

Alexander Borisov was sent to prison in 1992 for robbing the First Niagara Bank in Millerton, New York and served time for robbing banks in Connecticut.

Last year he was arrested again for robbing the Millerton bank.
