Qatar refuses to hand over Iraqi

Qatar has rejected Iraq’s request to hand over the nation’s fugitive Sunni vice-president to face terrorism charges in Baghdad.

A Qatari minister said Tariq al-Hashemi would not be extradited because such a move would be contrary to diplomatic protocol.
