Politician kidnapped ‘by government’

A NEW opposition party has accused the Sri Lankan government of abducting its would-be leader and another activist over the weekend.

Members of the newly formed Frontline Socialist Party said about 30 armed men entered Premkumar Gunaratman’s house on Saturday and took him away, activist Udul Premaratne said.
