Policeman held over cannibal kidnap plot

A NEW York policeman has been charged with plotting to kidnap women, rape and torture them and then cook and eat their body parts.

Gilberto Valle, who lives in Queens, was arrested on Wednesday after the FBI intercepted e-mails sent to an unidentified co-conspirator “discussing plans to kidnap, rape, torture, kill, cook and eat body parts of a number of women”.
