Philippine guerrilla spokesman dies

A PHILIPPINE communist guerrilla who served as the movement’s spokesman for years and gave a face to one of Asia’s longest-running Marxist insurgencies has died.

The Communist Party of the Philippines said Gregorio “Comrade Roger” Rosal, 64, died on 22 June of a heart attack.
