Peres balks at £3k oxygen tank charge

Israel’s national airline has apologised to president Shimon Peres, 88, after attempting to charge him £3,000 to bring an oxygen tank on an official trip to Canada.

Mr Peres opted to fly with Air Canada because El Al wanted to charge him for the oxygen tank.
