Opposition soaring ahead in Croatia poll

Croatia’s centre-left opposition bloc Kukuriku led in a parliamentary election yesterday, according to an exit poll of 25,000 voters from Nova TV released after the voting ended.

The ruling conservative HDZ, in power for the last eight years, was coming in a distant second, according to the same poll.
