Nearly 2m people kept as sex slaves

Some 2.4 million people are victims of human trafficking, and 80 per cent of them are sex slaves, according to the UN.

The head of the Office on Drugs and Crime told a General Assembly meeting on trafficking yesterday that two out of three victims are women.
