Mother's appeal to free plane-spotter

THE mother of a British plane-spotter detained in India for allegedly breaching security yesterday made an appeal for him to be released.

Eileen Cock, 79, asked authorities to release Stephen Hampton, 46, who was arrested with a fellow spotter after police swooped on their hotel room.
