Anna Gristina was set to be released from a New York jail on Monday after a panel of judges reduced her bond to $250,000.
Her former attorney Peter Gleason had agreed to secure her bail by putting his luxury apartment up as collateral.

Now family and friends of the mum-of-four are trying to raise the money so she may be allowed home.
A source revealed: “They met on Sunday and had a falling out. Anna decided to sever ties with Gleason and said she did not need his help.”
Gristina, originally from Kirkliston, in West Lothian, has been in jail since she was arrested in February.
She is charged with a single count of promoting prostitution.
Last week her bail was slashed after her legal team appealed against the original bond of $2 million.
Gristina still hopes to be released by today so that she can attend her son’s graduation.
