Italian death–charge duo home for Christmas

TWO Italian marines charged with killing two fishermen off the coast of India are likely to spend Christmas at home, after an Indian court agreed to let them join their families for the holiday season.

The pair, part of a team protecting a cargo ship, say they mistook the fishermen for pirates.
