Islamists claim China attacks

An ISLAMIST militant group has claimed responsibility for multiple deadly attacks in China’s far-western Xinjiang region and its leader has threatened more violence to avenge what he called “the Chinese occupation”.

The video statement was allegedly by the leader of the Turkistan Islamic Party, Sheikh Abdul Shakoor Damla.
