Indian navy alert to Iran sanction ship

India’s navy has said it is monitoring an Iranian cargo ship, with armed men aboard, which had been moored off the country’s southern coast for more than a month without explanation.

Shipping data shows the ship MV Assa is owned and operated by Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines, a company facing sanctions from the United States and the EU.
