India to deport 10 French citizens

India has ordered the deportation of ten French citizens who police say illegally worked with an Indian advocacy group accused of supporting Maoist rebels.

It is the second time this year that India has deported foreign citizens working for local non-governmental organisations. A German tourist was expelled in February.
