Imam shot dead in Russian province

Masked gunmen have shot and killed another Muslim cleric in the southern Russian province of Dagestan.

Vyacheslav Gasanov, a spokesman for the local branch of Russia’s interior ministry, said two unidentified assailants shot and killed imam Khadzhi Aliyev at his house on Sunday.
