Hungary must hang on to older judges

A HUNGARIAN law forcing judges to retire must be repealed, the highest EU court has ruled.

The Court of Justice of the European Union said the law,reducing the retirement age to 62 from 70, was introduced too abruptly preventing transition for those affected.
