Hope for Cyprus reunification

THE leaders of the divided Greek and Turkish Cypriot communities yesterday said they could make progress towards reunification.

Newly elected Cyprus president, Demetris Christofias, said he had asked the UN to arrange a meeting with Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat.
