Hit suspected in death of mayor

The mayor of a city near Moscow died yesterday in what appeared to be a contract killing, investigators said, after he aired corruption allegations against local officials and businessmen.

Yevgeny Dushko was shot twice as he left his home in Sergiyev Posad.
